Welfare stamps - small contribution with great effect

Keysdiscount says thank you with Helvetia special stamps for a good cause

Keysdiscount is not only the world's largest platform for software licenses in Switzerland but also an employer with social responsibility. Especially in difficult times, people as a society must stick together like the links in a chain. During the COVID-19 crisis, the Managing Director, Jürg Richards, came up with an idea with social added value. The versatile stamp can not only be used but can also provide a benefit. By franking mailings with a solidarity stamp in the future, part of the proceeds will go to those who currently need urgent help. A small surcharge on the postage fee will support charitable projects. How does the donation principle work with the charity stamps?

  1. Stamps worth 500 francs were purchased. The nominal value per stamp is 6 francs and this includes 1 franc postage and 5 francs solidarity surcharge.
  2. The stamps were handed out to all employees, so employees also became part of Swiss Solidarity.
  3. The special stamps were used in the course of day-to-day business like conventional office supplies. USB sticks, DVDs, etc. were sent and customers were included in the solidarity movement.
  4. The additional funds received by Swiss Post through distribution will benefit the COVID Solidarity Foundation.

"The whole is greater than the sum of its parts." - Aristotle

The company was able to withstand the crisis and even recorded an increase in profits. Not least because the trend was towards the home office, additional remote jobs were created and licenses were acquired. Keysdicount wants to give something back to the community and contribute to the common good. The principle of helping others has come to fruition by acting as a corporate role model and involving our employees and customers alike in the process of responsibility and solidarity.
